Councelors
Holiquin is looking for female counselors who have completed their freshman year in college, who enjoy children - having fun, and who are an excellent role models for the campers.

Counselors will be expected to stay in the bunkhouse with the campers at night, organize and participate in games and fun activities, spend time at the pool with the campers, and supervise clean up time each morning in the bunkhouse.

Lifesaving certification and Pony Club or riding experience is not mandatory but would be an asset.

Counselors are expected to work all of the boarding camp weeks. A bonus is given at the end of camp to counselors who have shared unselfishly of their time, talents, and heart with the campers, the horses, and the staff.

We have a small staff and must be able to rely upon one another for assistance and support in whatever need may arise during the course of the camp week. For that reason, we need mature, good natured, and hard working people on our staff.

Pay is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Adult or Parent Helpers

Barn Help
Holiquin is looking for an adult who would like to do barn work during the year in exchange for lessons for themselves or lessons and camp for their child.

I would need this person to help with grooming horses, tacking up for lessons, helping the students to and from the lesson ring, helping the students clean tack, and leading the horses back and forth from the fields.

We could use the help during camp and during fall, winter, and spring lessons. During camp the hours would be weekdays from 8-12 a.m., and during lessons the hours would be from 3:00-7:00 p.m., Mon. thru Thur.

Camp Cook
We're looking for a mother or a person to cook during the 4 weeks of boarding camp. Hours are 10-4 Monday thru Friday. This includes grocery shopping, meal preparation and general management of the camp kitchen. I will either pay the person or deduct the amount from a camp fee.
